Educational Qualifications

Applicants targeting the Rajasthan civil judge position need to satisfy the following academic and cultural requirements:

  • Law Degree: Must hold a Bachelor of Laws (Professional) degree from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India. Final year/semester students may apply provisionally, provided they present proof of passing before the Mains examination. The law degree can be of 3 year or 5 year integrated course.
  • Experience: No prior practice or work experience as an advocate is required.
  • Character & Health: You must possess a good moral character and be free from any disqualifying criminal misconduct or medical conditions.​

Nationality

Must be a citizen of India.

Language Proficiency

Must be proficient in Hindi (Devnagari script) and Rajasthani dialects/customs.
